- ➤ Tuscaloosa will host the 17th annual Sokol Park professional rodeo July 10-12 at the Ray C. Jenkins Multipurpose Arena at Munny Sokol Park, where gates open at 5:30 p.m. and events start at 7:30 p.m. The event features calf roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, bronco riding, bull riding plus a mechanical bull, a rock climbing wall, bungee jumps and various food and Western boutique vendors; tickets cost $25 for adults, $15 for children aged 5 to 12 and are free for kids under 4.
