- ➤ State leaders including Speaker Nathaniel Ledbetter and Senate Pro-Tempore Garlan Gudger met at a State of the State luncheon hosted by the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce to discuss newly passed laws such as a bill to protect law enforcement and the reorganization of the Birmingham Water Works Board.
