  • Crews have closed Judy Bonner Drive near 6th Avenue for repairs on a central thermal water line affecting the University of Alabama area+the detour directs traffic onto Elm Drive and limits access to Little and Wade Halls and nearby sorority houses, so travelers should allow extra time.  ABC 33/40
  • The University of Alabama collected 630,624 pounds of food in its Beat Auburn Beat Hunger drive from Oct. 3 to Nov. 20, setting a record for the 31-year event—donations went to the West Alabama Food Bank. Auburn’s Beat Bama Beat Hunger drive collected 648,305 pounds and brought the combined total above 1.2 million pounds.  The Crimson White

  • A traffic detour near Judy Bonner Drive and 6th Ave is affecting parking behind Little and Wade Halls—Judy Bonner is closed east of Elm Drive and Elm Drive is closed for southbound traffic—so drivers should plan extra time when navigating the area.   • Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer said on Sunday that redshirt senior Josh Cuevas will likely miss the weekend due to a lower-body injury and running back Jam Miller is still undergoing tests after multiple injuries—he noted the team will face Georgia in the SEC Championship game on Saturday.  Tide 100.9
  • After beating Auburn in the Iron Bowl, Alabama football remains in the College Football Playoff hunt by earning an SEC championship berth against Georgia—projections show the team is near the playoff cut line as they prepare to play at 3 p.m. CT on Dec. 6 on ABC.  The Tuscaloosa News
  • Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer said wide receivers coach JaMarcus Shephard will help the Crimson Tide push for an SEC title as much as he can despite his new role as Oregon State head coach.
