- ➤ A Tuscaloosa County Circuit judge approved nearly $60 million in bonds for the University Beach project in Northport after a hearing on Nov. 13—this approval will let the developer seek the funds needed for the full project, which is valued at about $350 million and will include a water park, beach club, and resort off Highway 82.
