- ➤ The Quilts of Valor program is supporting veterans in west Alabama by giving them handmade quilts that honor their service—local volunteers make and deliver the quilts to show care. WBRC
- ➤ Tuscaloosa pet owners can book a Santa photo session at Pet Supplies Plus on McFarland Boulevard on Dec. 2 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Dec. 4 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Dec. 6 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a $20 fee—each session gives a printed 4x6 color photo—with all proceeds benefitting the Humane Society of West Alabama. - ➤ Residents or visitors with overtime parking tickets can have them forgiven by donating a toy worth $10 or more at the Municipal Court (2122 Gary Fitts Street) as part of the city’s annual holiday toy drive running until December 4th.
