- ➤ The University of Alabama will celebrate transfer students during National Transfer Student Week starting Oct. 20. - ➤ Five Crimson Tide players were named to the Lombardi Award Watch List for this season plus they include senior D lineman Tim Kenon III, red shirt junior O lineman Parker Brailsford, junior D lineman LT Overton, senior linebacker Deontae Lawson and junior O lineman Kadyn Proctor who have made key plays in games against Vanderbilt and Georgia. - ➤ Alabama high school volleyball teams will begin area tournaments on October 22 using a single-elimination format—top two teams from each bracket will advance to super regionals scheduled for October 22–24 with the state tournament set for October 28–30.
