  • Delta Theta Sorority hosted a donation drive in Tuscaloosa to collect feminine hygiene products for high school girls in Tuscaloosa City and County Schools on International Day of the Girl Child.   • UA Early College now offers two new freshman scholarships for high school students taking courses with UA faculty, and the Million Dollar Band was selected among 10 groups to compete in the 100th Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade in 2026—each chosen band receiving a $10,000 grant to help fund their march.   • Alabama men's basketball will start its season next month with a No.15 ranking in the Preseason AP Poll as sixth-year coach Nate Oats leads the team after last season’s Elite Eight run — if the ranking holds, the Crimson Tide could be a four-seed in March.
