  • Alabama football won four straight games and is 2-0 in SEC play but must tighten its run defense—its current average of over 155 rushing yards per game leaves the team open to challenges from top opponents.   • Alabama football rallied against Vanderbilt on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium with strong plays from Justin Jefferson and Jam Miller for a 30-14 win — the team made its 61st ESPN College Gameday appearance.  Tide 100.9
