- ➤ On Friday, the UA System Board of Trustees approved submitting a proposal for a Master of Science in artificial intelligence at the University—its new program aims to train professionals for emerging industry needs and advanced research. - ➤ On Friday, the Culverhouse College of Business renamed its real estate program the Rance M. Sanders Real Estate Program after receiving a $5 million gift from Rance M. and Angie L. - ➤ Today, the Alabama Department of Workforce is using federal funds to reclaim hazardous mine lands by directing over $20.7 million to communities including Tuscaloosa and planning an extra $11 million by year-end. It already spent $8.25 million in other areas + has invited bids for additional projects to create construction jobs. ABC 33/40
