- ➤ UA will use Blackboard Ultra for all courses by Spring 2026 so that instructors can copy course material quickly and students can track progress easily—support sessions and online guides are in place to ease the transition. - ➤ A recent inspection of the Parkwood Road Bridge over Shades Creek in Jefferson County showed that flood debris had eroded the ground behind it—officials closed the bridge for a week and installed rip rap and cameras to monitor repairs.
