GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Governor Ivey has sent additional first responders to the Texas Hill Country to help with flood recovery after catastrophic floods last weekend. A 15-member team from Mountain Brook Fire Department and two from Vestavia Hills swiftwater rescue team will stay overnight in Shreveport and arrive in Texas tomorrow—joining Tuscaloosa Fire Department members who deployed on Thursday.
