  • Tuscaloosa City Schools announced it is hiring 10 to 15 bus drivers with competitive pay starting at $23.80 an hour—applications are open now for the new school year starting the first week of August and candidates will receive full training, health insurance, retirement benefits, and paid time off.  Tuscaloosa Thread
  • Based on student feedback, Niche ranked the University of Alabama as the state's top party school for 2025 and No.4 nationally, noting lively football game days and strong Greek life.
