- ➤ On May 18, a juvenile was arrested in Tuscaloosa for a shooting near the 21st Street & Alston Avenue intersection that seriously injured a woman who remains hospitalized, and he faces charges of first-degree assault, discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle & illegal possession of a firearm as the investigation continues. - ➤ On May 26 at 9 a.m., a Memorial Day ceremony will be held at Veterans Memorial Park where Army Master Sgt. Barry Gregg will serve as the keynote speaker and retired Navy Capt.
