- ➤ Eddie Jordan Jr., a 19-year-old suspect wanted for the homicide of Demaryius Antoine Cherry who escaped from UAB Hospital, was captured Tuesday in Eutaw by a team of U.S. Marshals, Birmingham Police and Tuscaloosa officers—he now faces charges including murder, assault, discharging a firearm and escape.
