- ➤ Yesterday, Jam Miller, an Alabama running back, was picked by the New England Patriots as the 245th overall selection in the seventh round of the NFL draft. He played four seasons at Alabama where he gained 1932 yards and scored 15 touchdowns. The Tuscaloosa News
- ➤ Former Alabama cornerback Domani Jackson was drafted in the sixth round (No. 201 overall) by the Green Bay Packers, adding depth to their secondary as he follows a strong run with the Crimson Tide. Tide 100.9
- ➤ Former Alabama tight end Josh Cuevas was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round with the 173 pick, becoming the third Crimson Tide selected in that round. The player (who played at Cal Poly and Washington) now heads to Baltimore for an NFL career. Tuscaloosa Thread
- ➤ Former Alabama center Parker Brailsford, a two-year starter with Crimson Tide who earned honors last season, was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round+ he now takes his skill to the Dawg Pound. Tide 100.9
- ➤ Ty Simpson, a former Alabama quarterback from Tuscaloosa, was drafted in the first round by the Rams last Friday. The 23-year-old turned pro after four years in Tuscaloosa and is eager to learn from veteran Matthew Stafford (a dream come true for him). WBRC
- ➤ LT Overton was selected as the No. 137 overall pick by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round — he becomes the fourth Alabama player taken in a 12-year streak. Overton completed two seasons at Alabama and now prepares to join the NFL. The Tuscaloosa News
- ➤ Former Alabama linebacker Justin Jefferson was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round (pick 149 overall) and joins teammate Parker Brailsford in the NFL Draft. He spent three seasons at Alabama and his selection could help bolster the Browns’ defense in upcoming games. Tide 100.9
- ➤ Former Crimson Tide defensive lineman LT Overton was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys with the 37th pick in the fourth round of the NFL draft. He will join the Cowboys’ defense and learn from teammates including former Tide alum Quinnen Williams (acquired in a trade). Tide 100.9
- ➤ Alabama football landed five-star quarterback Elijah Haven from Baton Rouge (the program’s first No. 1-ranked QB under coach Kalen DeBoer) for its 2027 recruiting class; the decision came after last year’s signing of Keelon Russell. The Tuscaloosa News
