  • Tiffany Moore, a Central High School employee, is watching her family build their first home in Milestone Circle as Habitat For Humanity Tuscaloosa works with Mercedes-Benz US International employees to start construction this month.   • A judge in Tuscaloosa County dismissed two misdemeanor animal cruelty charges against former Crimson Tide defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs after his defense provided evidence that another man had cared for the dogs involved—Buggs now is focused on returning to professional football.  Tide 100.9

  • The People’s Union announced Economic Blackout 2.0 will run from today until April 20—local shoppers are asked to avoid big retailers and support small local businesses that support DEI efforts. Organizers said more boycotts will happen later in spring and summer.  The Tuscaloosa News
