  • Alabama softball coach Patrick Murphy reached his 500th SEC win during Saturday’s game against Auburn, and his team improved to 38-3; they will complete the series today at 1 p.m. CT on SEC Network+.  The Tuscaloosa News
  • At Alabama's 2026 A-Day, coach Kalen DeBoer said Austin Mack played fewer snaps because he was dinged up (he will be all right) while Keelon Russell received more playing time. The team will hold two more practices before opening its season against East Carolina on Sept. 5.  The Tuscaloosa News
  • After Saturday’s A-Day scrimmage, head coach Kalen DeBoer said the Tide defense must improve in tackling, pursuit and blitz execution — the defensive line and secondary showed promise ahead of the season.  Tide 100.9

  • Michael Carroll played nearly all his snaps at guard during spring practice and expects a permanent role as the Crimson Tide shifts its lineup for the upcoming season.
