- ➤ A new Baby Steps program launched in Tuscaloosa to help pregnant college students finish their degrees by providing a furnished home near the UA campus (it offers on-site supervision, counseling, and a podcast with success stories). - ➤ County leaders and local officials held a soft opening for the new Synergic Center on 5th Street in Northport, a 47,000-square-foot hub converted from the old FIS Call Center that closed in 2020.
