- ➤ The Alabama State Council on the Arts awarded over $2.7 million for arts facility projects across central Alabama, including Theatre Tuscaloosa lighting upgrades and a cultural heritage site by the city. Projects will run from Apr. 2026 to Apr. 2027. ABC 33/40

- ➤ Tuscaloosa City Schools is considering a new districtwide plan to support special education teachers with extra funds and planning time, and the board is set to vote on the proposal on April 7. - ➤ University of Alabama students gathered Tuesday night to honor fraternity brother James 'Jimmy' Gracey, who died while visiting Barcelona last week.
