- ➤ United Way of West Alabama named Tuscaloosa attorney Josh Hayes as the 2025 Campaign Chair—he has long supported local nonprofits. She has helped students in need graduate with strong support—with the program boasting a 55 percent graduation rate compared to a two to three percent national rate—and she helped establish a scholarship for those facing hardships.
