- ➤ Ignite, the new arts and science center at the Saban Center, is looking for a leader to become its first executive director — the role will run museum work and guide hands-on learning. - ➤ Historic Tuscaloosa and Visit Tuscaloosa have partnered to launch free downtown walking tours in April that will begin every Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Jemison-Van de Graaff Mansion. - ➤ On Tuesday, state representatives approved tax cut bills that include lowering the food sales tax from 3% to 2% starting Sept. 1 to help families face rising grocery prices.
