ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Trees have fallen in parts of Tuscaloosa due to severe storms nearly an hour ago — crews are checking local roads as residents navigate around blocked areas.  WBRC

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • ALDOT will begin limited lane closures on Highway 82 in Coker on Wednesday to set girders for a new bridge over Big Creek. Eastbound traffic will stop for up to 20 minutes during each placement while westbound lanes remain open, with law enforcement managing traffic control.  Tuscaloosa Thread
