  • The West Alabama Quilters Guild is hosting its 17th annual Biennial Quilt Show at Taylorville Methodist Church on March 6 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and March 7 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). The event features over 150 quilts, a junior exhibit, live demos, vendors, door prizes, and a silent auction.  WBRC

  • Eleven former Tide players will test NFL free agency as teams begin talks on March 9 and the new season starts on March 11 at 4 p.m. The group includes notable names (Najee Harris and Jonathan Allen) who seek new opportunities after previous stints with top teams.  Tide 100.9
  • Alabama coach Nate Oats explained that a miscommunication in Tuesday's loss to Georgia led to only four players on the floor when a substitute came in for Amari—Aden Holloway mistakenly went to the bench, prompting Oats to stress better communication.
