- ➤ Governor Ivey announced her support for a law to limit screen time in early education. The Healthy Early Development and Screen Time Act requires guidelines and teacher training in licensed childcare and will take effect Jan. 1, 2027 if passed. ABC 33/40
- ➤ Governor Kay Ivey kicked off School Choice Week on Monday and outlined plans to expand education freedom through the CHOOSE Act plus related initiatives; families can submit applications until March 31 with award notifications on April 15 and funding starting July 1. ABC 33/40
